Our main SIT AND SEW Meeting is on the 2nd Monday of the month.
WHERE: At St David’s Church Hall corner Aphrasia and Talbot Streets Newtown Geelong
WHEN: From 10am until 2.00pm
Bring your lunch and something to sew. Meet and chat with fellow embroiderers
If the Monday is a Public Holiday we still meet that day giving some of our working members the chance to attend.

I’m not sure if your message was replied to. If not I apologise. It was a very busy time for me pre Xmas and moving house.
Our first 4th Saturday Sit and sew is this Saturday (27th) from 12 noon at St Davids hall in Newtown. This is an informal meeting for having lunch together and sewing on whatever we choose to bring along so you can wander in any time until about 3pm Bring your own lunch.
The first formal Sit and Sew and meeting is on the second Monday of the month (ie Feb 12th) from 10am to 2pm.
You would be very welcome to join us at those times and you could then find out more about our other meetings covering specific techniques eg Counted thread, Canvas work or Crewel work. Beginners are well looked after, you don’t have to be an amazing embroiderer – just come and have fun.
